Winner Of The ADIA New Exporter’s Grant Announced

To support their outreach to new overseas markets, Osteon Medical has been awarded the ADIA New Exporter’s Grant which will facilitate their attendance at IDS Cologne, the world’s largest dental exhibition.
Key Issues For The Dental Industry —
The ADIA New Exporter’s Grant was established by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), the peak business organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of innovative dental products, to assist an Australian dental product manufacturer attend IDS Cologne.
Osteon Medical is a small to medium enterprise (SME) that uses advanced digital design and manufacturing techniques to precision-mill high-quality and safe prosthetics for use in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery to deliver better treatment outcomes for patients.
With the support of the ADIA New Exporter’s Grant, which was tightly contested, Osteon Medical’s products will be showcased to international audiences at IDS Cologne and will show the high level of research, development, and manufacturing quality that is undertaken by the dental industry in Australia.
IDS Cologne is the world’s largest tradeshow for dental products, featuring 2,000 exhibitors that will cater to over 150,000 potential customers from around the world over five days from 12 to 16 March 2019.
The ADIA New Exporter’s Grant is just one part of the broad and comprehensive suite of programs administered by ADIA to support Australian manufacturers develop, commercialise, and export their innovative dental products in order to secure the future of manufacturing for the dental industry and help to create jobs of the future.
In 2018, ADIA will provide around $100,000 in grants and financial assistance to support Australian research and development (R&D) and dental product exporters.
